Unit 1 was our first tanker. It was purchased in 1986 from Sites Fire Equipment in Franklin, WV. It had a 427 Chevrolet engine and a five speed manual transmission. The tank was 1250 gallons and the pump was a 250 GPM.
It served us well, but was sold shortly after the arrival of 'Big Country' in 2001.
